Montreal is the first and only Uruguayan
manufacturer of mechanical cables. Founded in 1985,
it initially focused on the assembly of products,
prioritizing quality and supplying the national
market. Today Montreal is a company that supplies
competitive markets and complies with strict quality
controls.
Montreal manufacturers many types of cables such as
handbrake, accelerator, clutch, hood, and
speedometer cables, supplying the automotive,
nautical, agricultural, and construction industries.
It has more than 3000 models of cables, for all
kinds and brands of vehicles.
Montreal is a member of the Chamber of Auto-parts
Manufacturers of Uruguay, which is part of the
Chamber of Industries of Uruguay.
